Megan got in touch about a photoshoot after she had received some unfortunate news about her gorgeous bay mare, Dolly. I've worked with Megan before, so it was nice to be trusted again with such precious memories.

Dolly is stabled on a livery yard in the Peak District - a beautiful place with direct access to some lovely hacking as well.

It was quite a misty morning on the day of the shoot, but I really loved the vibe and overall finish to the images that the mist added. Megan went with a lovely classic autumnal outfit, paired with the dark greens and greys of the day the images turned out beautifully.

The main image Megan wanted was one sat on Dolly bareback, which she was really well behaved for. We did this in the school in a safe place. She also wanted some with ehr lovely spaniel, Bracken, and other horse, Rudie. She also wanted a black background head shot we got with the ones of her other two from the last shoot we did a couple years ago.

We started in the school using the gate and got the bareback one done, then we moved to a nearby section of grass to get images with both the horses and even some of all four of them.

To finish off we headed to the hacking route at the bottom of the lane. The trees were just turning so it made a lovely autumnal backdrop.

Since booking our shoot, Megan has had some more positive news and so Dolly is currently going through Rehab which I'm really enjoying following on instagram. I wish them the best of luck and hope to see them back out team chasing, soon!
