“The photoshoot went very well and I couldn't stop smiling.
The results are amazing and I loved all of the photos. I cannot wait to frame them - so excited to finally have some family photos up!”

"Before my photoshoot I was a bit apprehensive and hoping the horses would behave. I was also a bit nervous about being in front of the camera, whether my hair would be flying in my face all the time but when it came to it I was so focussed on my 2 mares that I didn't feel the camera was there.

I think even they enjoyed most of it too! Especially my younger mare who loves attention.

The photoshoot went very well and I couldn't stop smiling. Even when I did get dragged through some brambles walking the girls into the overgrown woods!

The in person viewing is a fantastic idea and made it very personal. There was no pressure either and Imogen put us at ease and let us decide which package was right for our budget.

My favourite part of the shoot was seeing how shiny & clean my mares can be and they can actually manage to put their ears forward together. The results are amazing and I loved all of the photos. I cannot wait to frame them - so excited to finally have some family photos up!"

Linette won her photoshoot with me after entering the competition at my trade stand at Eland Lodge Equestrian Centre back in April.

Linette has two very special horses. Her older horse, Mayhem (absolutely love this name and apparently she has lived up to it in her time!), she's a 24 year old bay mare. And her younger horse, Secret, a bay 8yo warmblood x thoroughbred mare.

Linette keeps her horses on a gorgeous livery yard near Oxton in Nottinghamshire. The livery yard also has direct access into the neighbouring woodland for hacking, which made a great photoshoot location.

Linette wanted a photo with the horses together, to include her partner Russ in a couple, and to have some with each of the mares separately.

We started with Linette giving me a tour of the yard, and we chose 3 different outfits for Linette. We started in their field, we felt this would be where both girls are most settled, and there was some lovely light coming through the trees. We paired this with a gorgeous smart riding outfit, and did the bareback photos here as the girls were nice and relaxed and it was also an enclosed space.

After that we did an outfit change and headed into the woods. It was a bit of a trek and a bit brambly but it was totally worth the walk and getting the girls down there. Again we did some with each horse individually, and all four of them together. The woods made for a beautiful backdrop and the passing of a cyclist really helped getting the girls ears forward and posing.

To finish off we headed back to the stable area. We used a beautiful red brick wall for some cuddly shots and finished off using the gate to the school for some photos. We got a huge variety of different images for Linette, and we managed to tick all the boxes and get all the images she'd asked for.

The girls were so well behaved and it was just a lovely day spent together all round.
