Erin & Honey

"I was so excited for my photoshoot with Imogen, I love her work and just really wanted images created by her. It was such a great experience, Imogen was so lovely and really helpful with deciding what to wear, how to pose etc.

I really loved seeing all my photos edited and put together at the viewing, it was really helpful when choosing the images I wanted. My favourite part was choosing the different locations, each location bought a different vibe for each set of photos.

I love them all and couldn't be happier. I'm so grateful to have these memories to look back on."

Talk about dream photoshoot! We were truly blessed with the most glorious colours in Autumn 2023. When I think back to November 2023 I think of how many amazing shoots I got to do, and how mother nature really gave us a show.

I definitely made the most of it. This shoot was a standout of the season for sure. I mean a Haflinger photoshoot on a rustic Derbyshire farm in autumn? Yes please!

I got to go to Erin's farm near the Radbourne estate in Derbyshire for this gorgeous shoot with her Haflinger mare, Honey. Erin has had Honey for 8 years now, and says her favourite things are attention, a good gallop, and food.

I was in location heaven at their house, red brick stables, peeling paint on the doors, gorgeous big fields with orange leafed trees poking through the hedgerows, and their cute little orchid in the back garden. There was no end of places to shoot.

We had fun going through Erin's wardrobe as well, picking out the best pieces of clothing that complimented each location and the season.

After a cuppa we started off on the driveway - I love a walking shot to begin with because it helps ease everyone into the shoot. Of course their family dog had to join in, too. We moved through to the old pig stye building after thar, the gorgeous red brick and painted doors were irresistible for me, coupled with a camel coloured coat and jeans I felt like this really worked.

A quick outfit change to a cream corduroy shirt and we used the garden and orchid, before lastly a roll neck jumper and skirt combo for the gorgeous big field out the back of the farm.

We finished off with some cuddly shots around the yard, as I know Erin really wanted these.

Honestly the pair of them absolutely smashed it - we had so much fun and the end result of the images are some of my favourite I've ever taken at this time of year.
